What do car audio services include?

We install subwoofers, amplifiers and speakers, carry out door soundproofing and complete audio system rebuilds. The work includes not only fitting but also tuning the system — from selecting components to final sound calibration for the specific interior.

Why is door soundproofing needed if I just want better sound?

Because a standard door is a poor enclosure for a speaker: the thin metal vibrates and the sound is lost into the door rather than the cabin. Even expensive speakers sound noticeably below their potential in an unprepared door. Soundproofing often delivers a bigger quality gain than swapping speakers for more expensive ones.

How much does installing an audio system cost?

The price is individual and depends on the components chosen, the scope of the installation and the condition of the factory wiring. The initial inspection and consultation are free: we assess the current sound, check the speakers, amplification, wiring and the acoustics of the interior, and then propose a configuration with a specific price.

Can the sound be improved without changing the factory head unit?

Often yes. In many cars the head unit is integrated into the on-board system and replacing it is undesirable. In such cases we work with what comes after it: amplifier, processor, speakers, soundproofing. At the consultation we assess which path will give the best result for reasonable money in your case.

What happens at the free consultation?

We assess the current state of the audio system: the quality of the installed speakers, the presence and type of amplification, the condition of the wiring, the interior acoustics. Then, based on your wishes and budget, we recommend components, explain what each will do and propose the optimal configuration.
